Threshold: Environmental reduction pavilion
“Environmental reduction pavilion”
For the threshold, I wanted to create a space that can represent or simulation the moment of listening music. While people wear the headphone to listen the music, they will be cut out of the environment surrounding and then concentration with sound. So, that means the environment surrounding is reduced and also they immediately generated a personal space.
From my designed, I used many architectural elements to create that moment such as using many layers to control the visual of user, and reduced the relationship between inside space and the outside space. To make people cut out of the environment. And also use the
moiré effect the can be illusion effect that make movement and dynamic in the space.
